Many complaints that people look down on them when they said, I am studying Early Childhood. What is so wrong about that? Are you stuck at being only a Kindy Teacher? NO YOU'RE NOT!!!
Let me tell you what is wrong with this. The fact that this is a new area, building up in Malaysia since 2005/6, we do not have enough exposure to what we can be. Not only that, the fact that, are these jobs available? Well, this is up to us to create them.
When there are demands (which at the moment YES!!! e.g. the need of MAIDS is increasing), I am pretty sure that there will be an increase in the number of students undertaking ECE degrees. We, at the same time, should be creative enough to create new names for the job itself! WALLA!!!
Hope this opens up some minds, some ideas provide hopes for many more ECE graduates in the future. I have recently shared with the Students of KFCH International College - I shall share with you some of the PowerPoint Slides and photos in an album.
